My name is Xi. I believe in data sovereignty—everyone authors their own stories. They will return to the whole, but multiply with intent in the now, and poking around is fun! Self-determination and understanding during our lifetimes help us visit Dante's Fixed Stars (Faith, Hope, and Love).

Once upon a time, I studied cultural anthropology, and culture shock still runs me over to a smile. I remember my time spent on that small town ranch in rural Texas as well as Istanbul and Berlin. I like taking recipes and probably copied your hometown's dance moves when I was there.

What is a bobbin?

When I was little, my parents were in grad school, and I stayed with my grandparents often. Grandma (姥姥) pedaled a sewing machine and made clothes, curtains, and even insoles when she wasn't overseeing the local trading company during the day. I found her jar of buttons one day, and she taught me how to sew! Bobbins hold not only threads, but know-how that amplified the production of textiles. I want to take to the field like her and weave worn stories into new ones.

For visitors

If I am worth anything later, I am worth something now. For wheat is wheat, even if people think it is a grass in the beginning.
